We already know that MAC is one of my favourite brands and I need little to no convincing to buy myself a new lipstick from them. Mehr has been a lipstick that I have seen all of the show and I thought it was about time I gave it a go to see whether I could rock it.

How’s your weekend going?
I have my most recent M.A.C. lipstick to share with you. I was lucky enough to get my hands on one of the Magic of the Night lipsticks, Evening Rendezvous. I am a sucker for purple lipstick, purple tubes, metallic tubes, matte lipstick and MAC, soooooo I had no will power when it came to Evening Rendezvous.
I have a few purple lipsticks that looked like they would be similar, but lucky for me nothing too close 😉
And here it is, isn’t it beautiful?
Evening Rendezvous lived up to the usual M.A.C. standard and lasted all day long with only minor touch ups needed after lunch. I had no bleeding or feathering and only a little bit of drying in the middle.
The other three lipsticks in the Magic of the Night purple tubes are Please Me, Dark Side and All Fired Up, which are all Permanent lipsticks. I love the tubes, but I will just get those shades in their standard tubes.

When I found out that part of MAC’s holiday collection was releasing a keepsake bag with limited Edition packaging of Ruby Woo and a lipliner and lip glass to match I knew I needed to get myself one.

Hello Lovelies!
It was my Birthday yesterday and I thought I would share with you my make up (and hair). I had such an amazing day and I was so very spoilt by all my family.
I finally am a step closer to getting my vintage curls under control. I love how you can see a bit more of my pink and purple 🙂
The lipstick I had on was M.A.C.’s All Fired Up from the Retro Matte range. I am a huge fan of Ruby Woo and we I put this on and discovered it was the same finish I was in love….and of course wondering what else came in this finish XD
Its not pink and its not red. Its beautiful 🙂
A warning though, Retro Matte finishes can dry your lips out, so make sure you lips are in tip top condition before you put it on. They are awesome at staying on all day long though. Another awesome thing about this lipstick? Its a permanent lipstick in the MAC range, which means you can go get right now.
Anyway thought I would share just with you my lipstick and awesome hair.

Hello Lovelies!
Today I finally have for you the swatches of my pretty little M.A.C. Alluring Aquatic Extra Dimension eye shadows, Lorelei and Silver Sun. They are from the same collection as Goddess of the Sea,which you can find swatches of here.
The Alluring Aquatic Collection has some of the coolest packaging I have seen in a while. All the items in this collection come in metallic, teal blue cases with faux water droplets. Even the boxes come like that too. I had high hopes for this collection as I wanted to get as many things as possible so I could cherish the awesome packaging. I think I was pretty lucky to score the lipstick and two shadows :3

Squeee! The water droplets are even raised so they look pretty real.
Lorelei: I am sorry for the already used product photos and the product around the edges. I couldn’t wait to use it *hangs head* I also have used it a tonne more when I found out this photo has shadow everywhere -_-
BUT! Look at it isn’t it pretty?!
Lorelei: I am such a sucker for nude eye shadows and when I saw the swatches for Lorelei I knew that I had to at least get this one. It is a glamed up nude shadow with awesome bronze and gold tones to it. It looks good blended with other colours or by its self.
Silver Sun: I really love how the Extra Dimension eye shadows have waves and MAC pressed into them.
Silver Sun: I wanted this colour when I saw all the swatches and when I got my hands on it in store, but then when I got it home I was like….now what? How am I going to wear this? Today I grabbed it thinking it was Lorelei and when I got to work to apply my make-up I discovered it was Silver Sun. I was just going to go without eye shadow today and then I thought “Just use it, why else did you buy it?”. It is actually an amazing colour and looks really good with my pale skin and green/hazel eyes. It is a metallic, green toned, gunmetal grey colour, which looks pretty awesome with black eyeliner.
Now have some swatches!
I don’t know if it just me, but they seem to have a small shift in them. It is more than likely the shimmer in them. I am so very pleased with these two colours. They are nice every day colours, but also very different to what is already in my collection.

It is winter here in New Zealand, so it is time to whip out the more vampy lipstick colours. Who am I kidding really?! I wear what ever I like year round, but I find that such dark shades go better with winter clothes. Today’s post is comparing two dark purple lipsticks. MAC’s Cyber and Revlon Va Va Violet. I have heard that Va Va Violet is a dupe for MAC’s cyber. In New Zealand both Revlon and MAC are relatively costly, MAC lippies retail for $40.00 NZD and Revlon lippies retail upwards of $20.00 NZD. Strangely enough Va Va Violet was harder for me to locate in NZ, I ended up finding it in a clearance store for $10.00 NZD.
So I thought I would compare them to see how close they really are.

I found another post sitting in my draft box that never made it to be published. This one is MAC’s Strawberry Malt Lipglass from the Archie’s Girls Collection. A year ago I scored myself Ronnie Red and Black Swan from the Archie Collection and died a little inside because I didn’t get more before all of Auckland sold out. When I was out one day at a MAC store that wasn’t my usual I noticed they had a tester for Strawberry Malt, turned out they had the last tube in stock.
